Air is drawn into the chamber by means of axial flow fan located at one end of the tunnel. The fan speed may be regulated to vary the air velocity through the drier. The unit comes with a bank of electrically heated elements upstream of the drying compartment to increase the air temperature. The heaters come with a variable power input.
