MIG-Welding Contact Tubes

As part of the welding range of products, Luvata produces tubes for contact tips. We use a manufacturing process whereby the final drawing operation is through a die and mandrel. Since the mandrel determines the size and shape of the bore, the process guarantees an exceptionally tight diameter and a smooth surface finish for the bore.

Since the bore does not need to be calibrated, this leads to a cost saving for the tip manufacturer, as well as fewer interruptions for the welder when in operation.
